Within the first month of its launch, Figment.com had 10,000 active users and has grown to over 460,000. The solution earned a Webby in the “Youth” category in 2011, and was featured in articles highlighting its impact and mission in The New York Times and Time Magazine. Figment was acquired by Penguin Random House Children’s Books as a core element of its young adult market strategy in October 2013.
