Profile & Challenge

The challenge was to deepen the relationship with fans of the "Weird But True" children’s print book series and generate a new revenue stream through a mobile app.

SOLUTION & OUTCOME

GAP designed and developed an interactive app featuring social sharing, in-app content purchasing, sponsorship/promotion, and content updating. The "Weird But True" mobile app has been immensely successful, with over 3 million downloads and 3 major releases. It has received accolades including the Spring 2012 Parents’ Choice Funstuff Award and recognition by The New York Times and Apple.
