Mission Data designed and developed a Top Chef University (TCU) tablet and mobile app that gives home chefs the ability to watch videos while cooking to recreate the dishes from their favorite chef’testants. The complete solution includes a microsite, a web layer for sharable content, and support service integration on apps for iPad, iPhone, and Android.
Over 400,000 people have downloaded TCU through the iOS, Android, and Samsung app stores. Identified by the Wall Street Journal as one of the best cooking apps, TCU was also a top trending app on Google Play during the 2012 holiday season and a finalist in a mobile app competition at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2012.
