Open Outlook or Outlook Express

From the “Tools” menu, select “Accounts…” |

Select the “Mail” tab. Click the account you wish to edit to highlight it. |

Click the “Properties” button. |

Select the “Servers” tab

Make sure your “Outgoing mail (SMTP):” and “Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP):” are mail.mydomain.com (should be set to this already if you are editing an existing account) - mail.persimmonridge.com in the example below.

Change your account name - it will now be the same as your email address. In this example, prljust becomes ljust@persimmonridge.com.

Change your password to the one Mission Data has temporarily assigned to you. We'll let you know when you can change it. |

Click the checkbox next to 'My server requires authentication' then click the Settings button. |

Make sure 'Use same setting as my incoming mail server' is selected, then click OK.

Click OK to close the Properties window, then click Close to close the Accounts window.

Restart Outlook / Outlook Express for your changes to take effect. |
